1. Can I take my vehicle anywhere for repair?
Yes, you can choose any dealer, or local mechanic to perform the repairs on your vehicle with your Icon Auto Protect vehicle service plan.
2. How are repair claims paid?
Claims are incredibly simple. Bring the vehicle to the repair facility of your choice, present your Icon Auto Protect information to the service professional and we’ll pay for any covered repairs with our company credit card over the phone. All you pay is your deductible (if any). There is no paperwork, no limit on the number of claims you file, and no need to pay first and then be reimbursed.
3. Do I really need a vehicle service contract?
Your vehicle is a big investment. You likely spent a lot of money to purchase it. The longer it stays in great working condition, the more value you get from your investment. Vehicle service contracts are designed to protect your investment by keeping your vehicle in good, drivable condition without you having to incur extra repair costs. Labor alone can be a smart reason to have a vehicle service contract. When you consider how expensive parts and labor can be to fix, the choice becomes quite clear.
4. Why buy a vehicle service contract now? Even if I still have a manufacturer warranty?
Just like health insurance, the better shape your vehicle is in when you obtain coverage, the better your rates will be. It costs far less to extend the coverage on a newer vehicle than it does for an older vehicle that’s used up quite the mileage. By buying today, you lock into the costs of a vehicle service contract now, while your vehicle’s at its best.
5. What if my car repair facility won't take our plan?
We find it rarely happens that a repair facility won’t accept our plans. Icon Auto Protect makes a habit of paying immediately. In fact, many repair facilities are eager to do business with us once they learn that they do not have to bill us. Still, if you are concerned that your repair facility will not accept our coverage, we’d be happy to contact the facility and establish a relationship before you purchase a plan. Should you find that a repair facility will not accept our vehicle service agreement for any reason, we will either allow you to choose your own repair facility, or send you a prompt reimbursement for the covered amount.
6. What if I want to cancel my contract?
Although we’re certain you’ll love your Icon Auto Protect vehicle service contract, we are more than happy to offer a money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied with your vehicle service contract. Plans can be cancelled within 30 days for a full refund. After that time period, a pro-rated refund will be issued for the unused portion of your contract.
7. Is my contract transferable?
Yes! It most certainly is. You can pass your Icon Auto Protect plan to the new vehicle owner. This can be a big incentive for you to sell your car. Just provide the proper documentation of the transfer and Concord Auto Protect will take care of the rest!
8. What's the difference between extended vehicle warranty and vehicle service contracts?
This is a very common question. Sometimes this is also known as extended car warranty, aftermarket warranty, and auto service contracts for cars.
Vehicle service contracts protect the consumer for costly repairs with coverage based on the service package you’ve selected.
Extended Car Warranty
Extended Auto Warranty provides a comparable coverage and includes the following:
- – A manufacturer’s auto warranty is a warranty to repair your car for a specified period of time and/or mileage at the time of signing.
- – Warranties are typically not all inclusive and cover specific items that you sometimes are not fully aware of.
- – Warranties are included in the price of a vehicle.
- – Warranties can only be placed upon a vehicle by the manufacturer of your vehicle.
- – Warranties are only for new automobiles.
Vehicle Service Contract (What we offer)
- – Vehicle service contracts can have a varied degree of coverage from basic parts to all-inclusive.
- – Vehicle service contracts pick up where manufacturer’s warranties run out.

A vehicle service contract is often referred to as an extended car warranty but it is not an actual warranty. A vehicle service contract provides repair coverage for your vehicle after the manufacturer’s warranty expires and is between you and the Icon Auto Protect. Icon Auto does not sell warranties and we sell vehicle service contracts.
